Support Team
Andrew's network of support in London continues to provide both the technical services and day to day encouragement necessary to pursue athletics as a full-time career.
Andrew receives a variety of support services, both from Lee Valley Athletics Centre, and from St Mary's University College in Twickenham. Andrew would like to thank St Mary's and in particular Dick Fisher for all their support, and for the ongoing use of their facilities. The following key members of support staff regularly work with Andrew:
- Charlie Pedlar is a leading physiologist based at St Mary's and has worked closely with Andrew to ensure that his training is tailored specifically to suit his physiology.
- Raph Brandon is the lead EIS strength and conditioning coach and has helped Andrew to integrate a new strength and conditioning programme into his existing training regime.
- James Moore, Lily Devine and Andy Burke have become vital members of Andrew's team, and are regularly in contact to keep track of his physiotherapy needs.
Training partners Mike Skinner, Mark Draper, Neil Gamester, Matt Carlisle, Lee Reynolds and Katrina Wootton are all involved in Andrew's training and he is incredibly grateful for all the miles that they have put in together.
Coach Andy Hobdell has developed a close relationship with Andrew since they joined forces in early 2004, and his continued guidance plays a central role for every aspect of the support team.
Agent Nic Bideau not only provides Andrew with access to world class athletics competition, but after years of association with the world's top athletes has a wealth of experience to share.
